The Robotina company has continued to spread its business tentacles, as we find ways of pushing our highly innovative energy solutions to various energy markets across the globe. Now, we’re looking way beyond the European markets, since we believe there are several other energy markets that are in dire need of such energy solutions that we provide.
This is a reason why the company is finalizing plans and trade deals, with energy stakeholders in the Saudi Arabian markets. Our activities in the famous Middle East country, is aimed at initiating and executing a number of energy management and optimization projects, based on the need peculiarities of the market citizenry.
Partnership roadmap for the project implementation
Robotina’s activity objective has always been towards achieving a sustainable energy efficiency framework, in all essence. Consequently, one of our very first partnership deals as pertains the Saudi Arabia projects, would be that which fosters a long term provision for energy efficiency actualization. We would be working hand in hand with a local high profile energy firm in the country, and the partnership is planned to remain valid for as long as required.
We are strategizing and working to ensure that the projects are able to create enormous positive impacts on the Saudi Arabian energy markets. Our objectives in this regard is quite important, considering the recent creation of Tarshid by the country’s authorities. The National Energy Efficiency Services Co. (Tarshid) is mandated with the task of ensuring an energy efficient Saudi Arabia, and is a product of the active collaboration of not less than three government ministries in the country. Saudi state-owned entities consume 38.5 GW/h or 13 percent of the Kingdom’s power consumption.
Tarshid’s project was first launched in Riyadh, where it is expected to save up to 60 percent of power consumption. The project will be implemented in other cities around the kingdom later on. The project is expected to boost energy-efficiency services and cut power consumption in the government facilities by 29 percent. These services will be initially implemented in four Saudi institutions, namely, Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, Saudi Post, the Ministry of Municipality and Rural Affairs and Institute of Public Administration. The company noted that there are around 260,000 government subscribers that Tarshid is in a quest to rehabilitate their buildings and facilities.
With this obvious need on the fore, we are set to becoming part of a sustainable solution that extends into the distant future. So as to ensure all round effectiveness of the projects, Robotina and our indigenous partner would carefully analyze and examine how to bring on the elements that would help in solving the energy efficiency issues of the Arabian kingdom. Once we’ve come up with our own detailed roadmap, we would introduce ourselves to Tarshid, and then proceed on possible value discussions and physical implementations with the agency.
Robotina’s energy efficiency activities in Saudi Arabia so far
Note that as of now, we have been able to carry out a POC energy efficiency project for one of the biggest shopping malls in Saudi Arabia. The project is a massive one, and the clients have shown great enthusiasm for our line of energy efficiency solutions. Consequently, we are in discussions on how to bring this energy efficiency solution to twenty other outlets owned by the shopping mall. When this happens, the mall would be able to save substantially more, while still been able to have access to optimized energy use.
